Large dented scuff in Colindale NW9

Although our main source of work is from minor collision damage such as bumper scuffs, seat burns and cracked bumpers we do on occasion fix slightly larger damaged areas like the one below for example in the local areas we cover.

This was caused by a loose fence panel that fell onto the side of the car while this customer was pulling out of his driveway. As you can see from the impact of the fence panel the rear door and rear wing have been scuffed with multiple dents over both panels and over the wheel arch area. Not quite our run of the mill type of repair but having taken on similar jobs in the past, it’s well within our expertise to fix.

The customer was based in NW9 area of London around Colindale which is within the Hertfordshire Essex and North London areas we cover and local to us. Our average job time is around 2 hours but due to the severity of the damage this one took me nearly 5 hours to finish. The main problem for this repair was the amount of dents that were situated around the wheel arch area. It took quite sometime to reshape the panel and the door edge back to its original condition. The painting was simple enough; I had to spray both the rear wing and rear door while also blending in the paint around edges corners and curves.

This customer had received quotes from other local body shops and accident repair services around the Colindale area of London but all were far too expensive. He had also tried to get quotes from other local mobile car body repair services like us but none were willing to take on such a job. We quoted this customer less than a third of a body shop price. He viewed our reviews on Facebook and decided to take our quote.

As you can see from the finished repair photos, the dents have all been removed and the scratches have been fixed and the entire damaged area repainted back to showroom condition. This customer was completely satisfied with the finished result and even gave us a great review on our website. He even stated how he felt slightly worried with the quote being so low how good would the finished result be, but on completion he couldn’t be any happier with the finished article.
